Portland, OR – December 8, 2017 – Greenspoon Marder shareholder, Amy T. Margolis, and associate, Kristin Stankiewicz will be featured speakers at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) Live Seminar on Friday, December 8, 2017, where they will be speaking on “Recreational Marijuana Business Law In Oregon.” The CLE event, covering federal government regulations, banking and financing for the marijuana industry, recreational marijuana business law, best legal practices, Oregon marijuana taxation, and analyzing ethical implications, will take place in Portland, OR from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Ms. Margolis’ primary practice areas are licensing, administrative law and regulatory work in the cannabis industry, as well as continuing to represent clients charged with crimes in either state or federal court. She is also significantly involved in policy work both in Oregon and nationally.
Ms. Stankiewicz focuses her practice on land use and real estate matters and state and local licensing for cannabis businesses.
